This year was not easy and especially for kids who also suffered from the repercussions caused by the global pandemic. However, there are still so many things we should be thankful for! What a better way to teach our kids gratitude than by having fun doing crafts. And since it's fall why not decorate some pumpkins?
Here are 4 ideas to make thankful pumpkins with the little ones!
1. Orange Sharpie Pumpkin
Zina Harrington, who runs the blog Lasso the Moon suggest that “every night for the month of October, gather as a family, and add a few items to your Thankful Pumpkin!” What a great idea!
2. White Pumpkin
Use liquid gold paint for the stem and a black pen or paint to write on a beautiful white pumpkin. The final result is actually really stylish!
3. Thankful Pumpkin
Every night, make sure to gather the family and everyone has to put one item they are grateful for!
4. Thanksgiving Centerpiece
Use this beautiful decorative piece as your center piece for Thanksgiving dinner!
5. Thankful Wreath
Another day to teach the kids gratitude and decorate the house; make a thankful wreath! You can use real leaves or make paper leaves with the kiddos.
Here are some more inspiration!
Will you do a "Thankful Pumpkin" this year? You don't need kids! It's a great way to add a little positive energy into our lives.
