Shipping container houses are becoming very popular! They are cheaper and more environment friendly than regular homes and they can pretty much be built anywhere you like! Perhaps only one mile away from Joshua Tree National Park, California? Named, "Starburst House" is a project that will be build from 21 shipping containers and arranged in a way to look like an exploding star.
The construction hasn't even started yet but the house is already for sale and listed for $3.5 million! The listing by Engel & Völkers includes plans, construction, and the finished property. Good news! Since the project hasn't started yet, you can choose exactly where you want the house to be. Now it all depends if you have the funds!
What about a little virtual visit?
According to Engel & Völkers, the property is located "at the finest point in Monument Manor."

The property is very quiet and private as it is surrounded by rocky mountainside.

Exactly 21 shipping containers will form an exploding star design.

The house will include three en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room for a total of 2,000 square foot.

The middle of the home will allow to see all the other areas!

The style of the home will be "stark" with concrete flooring, white walls, and minimal furnishings.

Here are some a few pictures of this interesting home!
