A spectacular house with incredible ocean views!

Crafted from the creative mind of Ken Crosson, this house built with containers is located in New Zealand.

It does not look like the traditional tiny house that we know, that's for sure.

This house may seem intriguing from the outside but the interior is quite nice and the view is wonderful !

Take two minutes to discover this unique tiny house, located in a bucolic place!

Good visit!

View!

The first thing to do when entering the house is to open the two huge folding doors to enjoy the breathtaking ocean view.

From there, you really get that feeling of being in perfect harmony with nature. There is even a "floating chair" to relax and breathe in this fresh, salty sea air. Would you like to enjoy this view every day?

Living room

The living area has a large fireplace for the colder winter months.

A long sofa, a hanging chair and two canvas folding chairs surround the cozy fireplace. There is no television, but who needs television when you have incredible ocean views like this?

Dining room, kitchen

In front of the living room is the dining room and kitchen of this unique house.

A large dining table offers plenty of room for meals with friends and family. The kitchen is simple with light wood cabinets and built-in shelves.

There is a sink, a burner and a mini-fridge that is hidden behind the custom-made cabinets. As for natural light? The glass folding doors make sure that the room is full of sunlight.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom is in a wing of the house. On the opposite side (not on the picture), there is a room with bunk beds for children.

Bathroom

The open bathroom with sliding doors, has a simple sink and rainfall showerhead.

Every room in the house has ocean view and the bathroom is no exception. Without a neighbor in sight, washing in this very exposed shower is not a problem. However, there are curtains if you’re feeling a bit too vulnerable.

The bathtub!

As if we could not do better than the open shower; there is a mobile bathtub that can be filled and wheeled out to the back deck. Would you like to take your bath here?

Do you like it?

And when the sun goes down, you can unwind to the sound of crashing waves below. Crosson, the designer of this house, describes the central living room as a metaphorical tent. Like camping, you can fall asleep to the sounds and smells of nature while gazing up at the stars.

A unique house!

If you prefer to have a bit more privacy, just fold up the outside door and you're done!

This house has won multiple awards! What do you think of this house? It's like living in the nature, in harmony with the sea, don't you think?
