This recipe is so delicious that you can serve it for a meal with friends as well as family dinners or for Mother's Day. You just have to put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and it will do all the work for you. It's so easy to do !

In order to get tender, juicy meat, the slow cooker will always be the best way to cook a roast.

Ingredients :

  • 1 beef chuck roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 cup beer
  • 2 bay leaves

Directions :

  1. Place the chuck roast in your slow cooker.
  2. Salt and pepper the roast on both sides.
  3. Then place the garlic cloves on top of the roast beef.
  4. Add the red onion, then pour in the Italian dressing and beer.
  5. Add the bay leaves on top.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours. ( Don’t open the lid during the cooking time ).
  7. Discard bay leaves and shred the meat with two forks. Remove the garlic cloves, smash them with the back of a fork, and stir the garlic into the shredded meat.
