When cooking, many people have a tendency to just throw parts of the fruits and vegetables in the compost or garbage. However, did you know that these rejected items can become very pretty plants with a little effort?
It's a good way to waste nothing and save on buying plants and flowers!
Here are some examples of plants you can grow at home, quite easily!
Lemon seeds are rarely used. But nevertheless, they can evolve into a very beautiful shrub!
Just place the seeds on a napkin, spray them with a little water and place them, napkin folded, in a glass jar with a lid. Then, wait a few days and carefully place the seeds in an egg shell filled with soil.
When shoots start to appear, simply break the shell in a flowerpot filled with soil and cover the base of the plant with more soil.
After a while, you will get this!
2. Celery Stalk
Does your celery always go bad before you can use all of it? Instead of throwing it away, put it in a bowl of water.
After a few days, plant everything in a pot of soil, to let this grow:
3. Garlic Glove
An extra clove of garlic? Let it soak for a few days in a bowl of water.
When it starts to germinate, plant it!
The tough skin and the leaves of the pineapple are the part you can't eat. So take it out and rip the leaves off the base.
Then put the base in the water and let it germinate before planting it in the ground to get an exotic plant.
Cut a few pieces of ginger roughly and leave them in a bowl of water for one day.
Then plant them in an pot with soil and water.

6. Passion Fruit Seeds
By simply planting the seeds of this tropical fruit, you can have a pretty indoor plant!
You can have a new plant by cutting the heads of the carrots and germinating them upright in a shallow dish containing water. Then plant the whole thing in soil and water!
Put a few pistachios in water and let them soak for a day before planting and watering them. You will this lovely plant:
Peel the seed of an avocado. Then plant 3 or 4 skewers in it and place it on the rims of a glass of water so it germinate.
Plant the roots in soil, leaving a little protruding from the core (without the skewers). That's all!
