How do you clean grout between floor tiles?

Whether you buy all the grout cleaners on the market or spend too much time rubbing with a sponge, you've probably wondered if there's a better way to clean tiles.

Here are actually 3 ways to clean grout between floor tiles!

The 3 methods have been tested on the same floor, the same day, in the video at the end of this page.

Oxiclean powder cleaner

How to do:

1. Mix the powder cleaner with boiling water.

2. Soak a toothbrush and rub the grout.

3. Thoroughly moisten the grout and leave on for 20 or 30 minutes.

4. Wipe with a damp cloth.

A mix of baking soda and peroxide

How to do:

1. Mix 2 parts of baking soda with 1 part of peroxide.

2. Soak a toothbrush and rub the grout.

3. Wipe with a cloth.

A steam cleaner machine

How to do:

1. Use the "brush" nozzle of the machine and brush the grout.

2. Wipe with a cloth.

The easiest and most effective method would be the steam cleaner machine, but it is the most expensive option. However, you can find very cheap models. Notice that the steam does not change the original color of the grout, which may be the case with other methods, which have a whitening effect.
