The body secretes many substances and those substances sometimes generate certain odors.

Of course, no one likes to have bad breath or smell like sweat, but the body often emits olfactory signals in an attempt to make us realize something.

The TipHero website has listed five body odors that you should pay attention to.

If your stools smell really bad

Of course, stools usually don't smell great. But if a putrefying odor fills the room when you sit on the throne, it may indicate that you are intolerant to certain foods. For example, if this happens after you ingest dairy products, you may not be able to digest lactose.

Acidic breath

Waking up with bad breath is not unusual. However, if your breath smells like rotten eggs, it could be a sign that you are suffering from sleep apnea. If you also sleep during the day and still snore at night, it would be advisable to take tests with a doctor.

If your urine smells bad

If your urine smells, it may be a sign that you are not hydrated enough. But there is worse: if the smell of your pee is frankly bad, this may be a sign that you have a urinary tract infection. This infection also generates a frequent urge to go to the bathroom. Fortunately, this type of infection is easy to treat once it is identified.

Fruity breath

If your breath has a fruity or even sweet smell, it may be a sign that you have diabetes. This smell is emitted when the body lacks insulin, causing a rise in blood sugar levels. If you also vomit frequently and urinate often, consult a doctor.

If your feet often give off odors

Sweat and heat can certainly cause bad smells. However, if your shoes stink at all times, this may be a sign that you are suffering from athlete's foot. You will also notice dryness in your toes, as well as redness. Do not touch with your hands as athlete's foot is extremely contagious. Consult a doctor for proper treatment.
