Paul Elkins took the concept of tiny house to the extreme. The man built a tiny home that is so tiny he can even tow it with his bike!
The "micro mobile home" has everything one needs; a small bed, a small kitchen area, insulation, a stove and a sink and even some storage space! And the best part? It cost Elkins only $150!
The man used to work for Boeing and is not new to building things. He specialized in tiny structures such as micro boats, teepees, and vehicles that are powered by pedals. His invention are meant to be taken on the go and are usually weatherproof and lightweight.
Kirsten Dirksen interviewed him for the Tiny House Design website and said:
“His work is inspiring because he pushes minimalism to an extreme,” said the woman. “While his tiny structures are lightweight, weatherproof, and portable they are also functional and include all the essentials. From a tiny house design perspective, his work serves an extreme example that sets the standard for small and outside-the-box thinking.”
Elkins has a Youtube channel where you can see more of the nomad bicycle camper and learn more about him:
