Trying to keep the pantry and cupboard organized can be a difficult task, and don't get me started on cereal boxes... Once opened, they never close completely, which can cause a mess if they fall or allow insects to go inside and they can lose freshness.
But here is a lady from England, who has loved cereals since childhood, discovered THE perfect way to deal with this critically important concern.
Becky Holden McGhee, like millions of people around the world, disliked the locking mechanisms of her favorite cereal boxes. So for many years (40 years, she says!), She pondered on an effective way to close them. And she found one!
She recently shared on her Facebook page the method she developed. It is the perfect way to do it.
Here is her secret, which has pleased hundreds of thousands of Internet users so far!
1. Fold the 2 small edges of the box inwards.
2. Then fold the large flange inward.
3. Fold one side of the box.
4. Fold the other side, the same way.
5. Fold the large edge into the created slit.
TA-DA! The final result!
"I had to share this! It only took me 40 years, but now I know the right way to close cereal boxes, " said Becky.
What do you think of her method? What's yours?
