Akie Nakata, a Japanese artist, makes the most adorable animal paintings on stones and rocks! She lets the stones inspire her when creating her sweet little characters, that is how she the idea! One day, back in 2011, she found a rock resembling a rabbit and had the idea to paint it.
The artist has a lot of respect for nature that is why she is very careful with her art. She wants each stone to remain in its natural shape and believes each of them has its own path.
Her creations are absolutely adorable and the best part is that can be held in the palm of your hand!
Nataka's believes each stone tells a story and is unique, that is why once her art is done, the stone and the character become only one.
She has a very special connection with them and believes they should be treated as living organisms!
