Would you like to go camping, but not a fan of sleeping a tent? Big RVs pollute too much for your taste and cost a fortune? Here is a solution! Think small, but practical!
For example, this small caravan is only 4.87 m (16 feet) long, but it offers appreciable comfort.
The Barefoot Caravan was designed by Cathy Chamberlain in the UK. Since she did not like the models available on the market, she decided to design her own caravan.
To design her tiny recreational vehicle, the lady partnered with students from the automotive design and transportation class at Coventry University. This project took them 3 years of work!
The sky blue caravan is made of fiberglass and is fully functional for those who wish to camp. It is equipped with small household appliances, a bathroom, and offers lots of storage.
Seen from the outside, the small blue caravan does not foreshadow all the amenities it contains on the inside.
Inside, there is a small seating area which is furnished by a large bench seat. The three windows surrounding it offer a superb view of the exterior.
The kitchen is rather small but very functional! Nice colors!
There is a refrigerator, a two-ring stove and two counters and a sink.
The living room is transformed either into a bed (where two people can sleep) or a table.
The caravan also has a bathroom - yes, it is small - but has a shower, a toilet and a sink.
The Barefoot caravan has LED lighting, a heating system and hot water. It also includes blackout blinds and even a mini wine bottle holder.
The cute caravan is available for £ 25,500 ($USD 31,000). At the moment, it's only available in the UK, but the company is looking to partner with an American manufacturer. Still it is a good amount of money! But cheaper than the regular RVs.
What do you think? Would you like one?
